Heer Sara has left the cinema and found a sofa
Heer Sara, produced by our founder Narendra Jetley, is now streaming in India. A film that spent the summer on a motorcycle can finally be watched in pyjamas.
It opened in cinemas on 12 June. Three months is a short run and a long time, depending on which side of the screen you are standing on.
Heer Sara opened in cinemas today — a road film from Indore to Pondicherry, directed by Kartik Chaudhry, starring Patralekhaa and Maanvi Gagroo, and produced by Narendra Jetley with a company of others.
The reviews were kind to it. Filmfare called it a moving story about women reclaiming their lives on their own terms; the Tribune credited the director with an impressive grip over the narrative.
