Who is responsible
Turtle Chuckle Films Private Limited, a company registered in India, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, decides why and how the information on this site is used.
Questions, requests and complaints about your information go to turtlechucklefilms@gmail.com, which reaches the person responsible for them.
What we collect, and why
When you use the contact form. The subject you choose, your name, your email address, and — if you give them — your phone number and the name of your company or outlet, along with your message. We use it to answer you and to route your message to the right person. Nothing else.
When you ask to be notified. Your email address, and which film or page you asked from. We use it to tell you when that film moves, or when the site opens. One email at a time, and never a list we sell, rent or share.
When a form is submitted. Both forms run a spam check by Cloudflare Turnstile, and we record whether that check passed. We keep a hidden field that only an automated script would fill in. This is how we keep the inbox usable; it is not used to profile you.
While you read the site. Our host, Cloudflare, records the ordinary technical details of a request — an IP address, the page asked for, the browser — for security and to keep the site up. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of any kind, and we do not build a profile of you.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Messages and notification signups are stored in a database on Cloudflare's network, reachable only by us. We keep a message for as long as the conversation is useful and delete it when it is not. Notification addresses are kept until the film is announced or you ask us to remove yours — whichever comes first.
Email we exchange with you lives in our Google Workspace mailbox, under Google's terms as our processor.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare, which hosts the site and runs the spam check, and Google, which carries our email. Both act on our instructions. Nobody else — we do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send it to advertisers.
We would disclose information if the law required it of us, and we would tell you unless we were forbidden to.
What you can ask for
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw a consent you gave — as easily as you gave it, by writing one line to us. You can also complain to us, and if we handle it badly, to the Data Protection Board of India.
Write to turtlechucklefilms@gmail.com and we will answer within a few working days. We may ask you to confirm the email address the request comes from, so that we do not hand your information to somebody else.
Cookies
We set no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss. The spam check on our forms may set a short-lived Cloudflare cookie while it runs, and your browser may remember whether you chose the light or dark theme — that choice stays on your own device and never reaches us.
Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be obvious on this page rather than buried in it.
